‎UK,based civil society justice and Equity  is seeking for removal of  Kenya (LSK) president Faith Odhiambo for accepting to work in a institution that was illegally formed by President William Ruto.
‎
The lobby group has heavily criticized Odhiambo saying she has betrayed Kenyans especially then victims of the Gen Z protest saying she would not have accepted the president’s  job given that the task force was unconstitutionally formed.
‎
‎The president of Justice and Equity Sebastian Onyango says he wants Odhiambo to resign and ask Kenyans for forgiveness, given that she was aware the Prof Makau Mutua task force that was formed by the President Ruto to look and asses the compensation for the victims of the Gen Z protest,was formed without public participation.

‎”In the same breadth we call on the LSK President, Faith Odhiambo,to apologise
‎to Kenyans for agreeing to take part in this illegal and unconstitutional entity”Said Sebastian
‎
‎The society h also welcomed the ruling by the high court on Monday which stopped prof Makau panel from conducting any business until the matter which was filed by two human rights organisations before him is heard and determined.
‎
‎In regards to the anti corruption matter facing former Migori Governor Zachary Okoth Obado and co accused where the director of public prosecutions filed an application to have the matter withdrawn following a plea bargain agreement.
‎
‎The society has warned the office of the DPP saying it will institute legal action against the commission for its continued move of withdrawing high profile cases including that of Obado who is accused of stealing public money while serving as the governor of Migori.
‎
‎”We further call on the Anti-Corruption Court to stand firm and reject any attempts by the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) to withdraw the criminal case against former Migori Governor Okoth Obado and his accomplices”Said Onyango.
‎
‎Other institutions which the body has invited the director of criminal investigation (DCI) and the Ethics and Anti corruption (EACC) to sent a team of investigators to arrest all corrupt officers including the official of the newly formed Social health Authority (SHA),the two big camera,and the KEMSA.
‎
‎”In addition, we demand that the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)immediately Social Health Authority (SHA). Persistent fraud and corruption in these two critical institutions can no longer be ignored.”Read Onyango.

‎The strong statement from the UK based organization comes barely a month after President William Ruto warn the Senate and the national assembly dire consequences for engaging in corrupt deals to same some corrupt leaders who appeared before them.
