Three Kenyans Wanted in the US for Stealing Millions of Dollars arraighned at Nairobi Court.
A Nairobi court has ordered Peter Omari, Francis Asanyo, and Elvis Obaigwa held at Kileleshwa Police Station for 14 days as the United States prepares an extradition request.
The three are wanted over an alleged multi-million dollar fraud scheme targeting American government institutions.
Investigators say they created fake emails and websites to impersonate officials and divert public funds to accounts in the US before sending the money back to Kenya.
The case now moves to the diplomatic stage and could lead to prosecution in the United States.
